Holy Cross Wedding and Hollins House Reception Santa Cruz - Annie K. Rowland Photography

Beautiful Wedding at the Holy Cross Church and reception at the Hollins House in Pasatiempo. I love the Hollins House for weddings, such a great venue! The view is incredible and the planner, Margie is so organized and helpful that the day just goes by smoothly.  This couple has been together for years, but it's so refreshing to see the wedding day jitters as a sign that they're entering a new chapter in their lives.

Marilyn and Terry - Hollins House Wedding Santa Cruz

This was a classic love story. Originally high school sweethearts, this couple parted ways and miraculously found each other fifty years later. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a couple more in love, and more comfortable in each other’s arms. After the ceremony in ScottsValley they climbed into a classic 1959 Cadillac for the ride to the Hollins House at Pasatiempo (after a photo op, of course!) There the guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the terrace overlooking Santa Cruz and the ocean beyond, followed by an awesome meal and the company of family and friends.

Doc and Dianne Wedding in Santa Cruz - Santa Cruz Wedding photography

These two were just meant for each other – you could see it in their eyes when she walked down the aisle. This was the perfect rendition of a small, close-knit wedding. It was held at a private residence near Santa Cruz, and the bar was open before the ceremony! The groomsmen had introduced the bride to the groom, and throughout the day they showed how well they knew and how much they cared for both of them. We had a gorgeous spring day, with our wet winter making for tall grass in the fields of the property. Doc sported a cowboy hat (in white – he was the good guy) to honor his Texas roots, but didn’t have time to bring out the guitar he usually sports. Still, there was music, good food and fun for all.
