High School Senior portriat photographer- santa cruz

Meet Emma, we had a quick session at a unique location. We will be finishing up at the beach if the fog can stay away long enough. Well, that is Santa Cruz in August.

Just a little about A.K. Rowland photography, we offer high school senior photography that is not your typical high school photo. It is more about capturing the real you, at a location that you can relate to. These sessions are lots of fun. No limit to the number of outfits. I will give you all the posing guidance you need so don't worry if you do not know how to pose. A standard sessions last about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. When you book your session we will also set up an "on the phone" or "in person" consultation to learn more about you and talk about locations and clothing and possible props along with the type of style you would like your images to have. Check out our website for more examples of fun senior photos.

Christie & Troy

The temps were expected to be in the 100’s, but lucky for us the hottest thing that day were the bride’s shoes!
The bright red pumps added a little flair to her shimmery white gown. The ceremony was at a beautiful little church in Woodside, which gave us the chance to photograph the couple in the redwoods as well as the oak filled hills. It was the safest wedding in town, with many of Troy’s firefighter coworkers in attendance. The reception at The Pub in Woodside was hopping, with a live band, and people taking a break from their meals to warm up the dance floor. The floor was packed for the rest of the day, with dancers from age 5 to 95, all having a great time.

Ann & Bud- Happy 70th Wedding Anniversary!!! WOW

We were thrilled to get the chance to photograph this couple for their 70th(!) wedding
anniversary. Yes, they were married in 1940, when photography was anything but digital. Budmserved in the Navy and had a long career with the Post Office, and Ann was a teacher. They are both fond of hats, and have an extensive collection. We can only hope to be as spry as these two in fifty years! Happy Anniversary!

Debra & Matt- Engagement photography Bay Area

The bride-to-be wanted cliffs and drama, and we certainly found both at our shooting location up the coast. The high tide made for some spectacular breaking waves, and the fog that swept in from the ocean created gorgeous skies (and lots of goose bumps!) There may be a heat wave in the rest of the country, but not here at sunset. Debra was a trooper, braving the cold in her little sundress – and was rewarded with some beautiful images.
