Newborn Photographer Santa Cruz - Baby Photographer

Family portrait photographer Santa Cruz- A.K. Rowland Photography

It’s safe to say that these were the easiest kids to photograph ever! The little boy Ryan was happy and cooperative the whole time. Devin the 10 month old, didn’t get fussy until well into the session and let Eric hold him without a fuss while mom was getting photographed with his big brother. We had a great time with the whole family, and the tolerance of the youngsters allowed us to get a great variety of images. It was just a joy to be their family photographer.

Little Brandon - newborn photography

I was thrilled that little Brandon wished to get photograph on his dad's black Harley Davidson Motorcycle. I figured this had to be a theme that would be repeated for years to come. I was even more thrilled to find out the Harley actually fit though the front door of my studio. Just way to cool!

Debra & Matt Wedding

The Wedding took place at Kennolyn located in the Santa Cruz / Soquel mountains. The reception featured an absolutely STUNNING cake that was designed by Debra herself, and created by The Buttery ( which is only 2 doors down from my photography studio). The room was decorated to accentuate the cake, with beautiful results. Nobody was more excited to see the cake than the bride, but we were all in awe at the sight of it. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the patio and dancing in the courtyard. The cake was served with olallieberry champagne dessert drinks. YUMMMY. It was a very fun event and some of the best cake I have had.

Sara- High school Senior Fun Photography- Bay Area, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley

Sara is from Pacific collegiate School in Santa Cruz. For this shoot we ventured up into SLV where her ‘cowgirl casual’ attire fit right in. The form fitting yellow dress and heels were a dramatic yet fun contrast to the rustic setting. Sometimes you just have to mix things up a bit. I was happy to use my new prop furniture on location.
Fun photography for high school seniors, dare to be different!
