Bob and Kathy were not our youngest couple, but I can't say that we've seen one that appeared more in love. They were married at the Hayes Mansion in San Jose on April 2, 2011. Family was the theme of this ceremony, with the children of the bride and groom serving as the bridal party for both sides. We had four generations of boys on the grooms side in attendance. It was a tropical theme, with exotic flower arrangements from Bloomsters and brightly colored dresses that complemented the exuberant atmosphere. It was a great party! and an honor to photograph.
Little Gemma is a total gem at 10 days old. This was her first professional photo shoot, and she pulled it off like a pro. In fact she sleep through most of it and took the outfit changes like a champ. She even threw in a couple of smiles for her mom and dad. I can't wait to see her in 6 months. She is just too cute.
Mary and Bryan came to us all the way from Utah. We had a shoot with their daughter and son in law and their first born little JB last year. We took Mary and Bryan to a local field of yellow mustard flower in Santa Cruz and manage to capture a bit of Spring in Bloom between storms.
Laura and Kris were Married on March 19, 2011 at the Silver Creek Golf Club in San Jose. It was a dark and stormy night… Actually it was a dark and stormy day, but that did not dampen spirits in the least for Laura and Kris’ big day. In spite of the weather, there were beautiful views from the clubhouse at Silver Creek overlooking the green hills of San Jose. We were singing in the rain, and the groomsmen were singing Gwyneth Paltrow’s Glee version of the song, and looking stylish with their umbrella, ella, ellas. Besides the action on the dance floor, the reception featured a photo booth where people got crazy, and the bride and groom got cozy.
