Fun in San Francisco-with my Lens Baby

OK, this is just for fun. I was in San Francisco on my way to Napa for my 6th wedding anniversary and my husband and I stayed with some close friends Brian and Tami in SF. Brian, friend and fellow budding photographer took us for a walk in his neighborhood. I decided to take my Lens Baby - a funky little special effects lens- OK lets say a toy- a fun toy- with us to capture some images along the way. Here are just a few shots from our walk.

A.K. Rowland receives 3 Awards of Excellence from PPSCV

October 10, 2007 I received 3 Awards of Excellence from the Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley in Print Competion. I was the only member to received above 80 in the print competion of 28 prints. The highest ranking image goes on the cover of the next PPSCV Journal. Below are the images. The first image image below ranked the highest and made the cover.

Congratulations to Queta & Frank, or is it Charles, or is it Chuck? I am not sure, but the groom does respond to all 3 names. They were married in South Lake Tahoe on a beautiful sunny September 29th. Although a fluke cold storm came in the night before and I awoke to a snow covered Tahoe, thank goodness it all melting away before the outdoor ceremony began.

Congratulations to Erica and Armando, who were marrried August 25, 2007 at the Monterey House in Morgan Hill. Their reception was at the Veterans Hall in Hollister.
